Larry Laslo

Design was written in the stars for Larry Laslo. When given the choice of a birthday gift at the age of six, he boldly announced that he would like a crystal chandelier for the occasion. Unperturbed, his parents found him a beginner’s piece that solidified his interest in the interior design world. It’s a testament to this early exposure that much of his work has appeared on the pages of such luminary publications as Elle Décor and Architectural Digest. Today, Laslo taps into a versatile aesthetic to create pieces that are at once modern, warm, luxurious and refined. For those familiar with his style, many of Laslo's pieces are immediately recognizable: dramatic accent chairs set the tone for beautiful living room layouts, while subtle chaise lounges lend any space in the home a more striking appearance. Among his wide range of options are tufted sofas, coffee tables, dressers, end tables, dining room chairs and chic home accessories, especially vases. Adding a few of Laslo’s creations to your home is an easy route to instant luxury. In addition to distinctive furniture, Larry Laslo is widely known for designing the late, legendary Takashimaya store on Fifth Avenue and the stunning interior of the city’s Bergdorf Goodman. He has received countless industry recognitions, including Best Product Designer honors from the CFDA and the Design Icon Award.
