Solaria is an American lighting company that specializes in contemporary European-inspired chandeliers and sconces. Lighting design styles range from classic and traditional to rustic and modern. The company uses recycled and reclaimed materials whenever possible to reduce its carbon footprint and promote a healthier environment. Solaria's distinctive light structures are built largely in wood, iron and glass, with LED and low-wattage bulbs to conserve energy. The Solaria Bubble Chandelier, which appeared in the Summer 2016 issue of At Home Greenville, features glass bubbles suspended on slender metal rods for a starburst effect. The unique Cubo de Marco Lantern, an open, geometric hanging lantern with candelabra bulbs, is available in several metal and glass finishing options. The Monaco Chandelier shows Rococo influence in its crystal drops and antique brass. Solaria's range extends to the raw, unfinished look of Brutalist design, as seen in the 2-piece set of Marco Sconces. Crafted from painted metal, their square silhouette is accented with small round bulbs at the edges. Currently, Solaria produces its wide range of indoor and outdoor lighting at its Nashville, TN, location.
