Modern Living Supplies

Modern Living Supplies is a furniture company known for its mid-century modern tables, chairs and other pieces. Founded in 2001 by designer Mark Naylon as a New York City vintage shop, the company now produces original furnishings under Naylon's M|n brand and also restores and sells antique items. Naylon and Modern Living Supplies have appeared in several high-profile publications, including House and Garden and Architectural Digest. Modern Living Supplies’ furniture is crafted from a variety of metal, wood and textiles. The Ivan Stool, for example, has walnut A-frame legs and fabric upholstery. The contemporary Tucker Console Table, like much of Modern Living Supplies’ furniture, has a sleek, streamlined design, sporting a sturdy pewter frame with travertine top. Among the antique items found in the Modern Living Supplies showroom are pieces by Gio Ponti and Gerald Thurston. Both were influential in the mid-century modern design movement and can be counted as inspirations for the M|n furniture collection. In addition to its originals and antiques, Modern Living Supplies creates custom case goods according to client specifications.
