Lorin Marsh

Lorin Marsh opened its first showroom in 1975 in the historic Decoration and Design (D&D) Building on 3rd Avenue. Instead of featuring just one style or line of products, the company sought to include a variety of home furnishings under one roof – furniture, lighting and accessories in antique, vintage and modern styles. A chic, eclectic furniture boutique was the result, and four decades later, the firm is still at the forefront of the industry. To expand its retail focus, Lorin Marsh entered the custom furniture market, creating its own finishing facility to personalize furniture to the exacting requirements of its clients. Wall art and photography also joined the company’s inventory. In 2014, Lorin Marsh introduced the LM Collection, a line of luxurious furniture and accessories upholstered in plush velvets, with bronze, brass, steel and marble accents. Glamour, quality and diversity are the hallmarks of Lorin Marsh, and customers know they can get both high-end, custom-made pieces and exceptional vintage items as well. The furniture collection includes cocktail, dining, side and occasional tables, consoles, credenzas, chests, desks, vanities, lounge seating, benches, ottomans and beds. Light fixtures such as chandeliers, table and floor lamps and sconces are available. Additional furnishings include artwork, bowls, vases, pillows, boxes, candleholders, mirrors, trays, picture frames and other tabletop accessories. Now located in '200 Lex,' the New York Design Center on Lexington Avenue, Lorin Marsh remains an icon in the design industry.
