Holland & Sherry

Originally a fabric mill, Holland & Sherry is a fine textile manufacturer founded in London in 1836 by Stephen George Holland and Frederick Sherry. By the early 20th century, the firm was exporting textiles to several countries across the globe, including the United States. Best known for their plush wools, high-end silks, and tweeds composed of natural fibers, Holland & Sherry Interiors was established in 1998 to include collections of hand-knotted floor rugs, handcrafted wallcoverings and trim, hardware and lighting. Using the most enduring techniques with a painstaking eye on details—such as hand-dyeing dyeing wool fiber, spinning yarns, and weaving and finishing—all Holland & Sherry products and materials are handmade inside the company’s environmentally responsible manufacturing headquarters in Tome, Chile. 180 years after its inception, Holland & Sherry remains synonymous with sophisticated artisanal fabrics and state of the art furnishings found in the finest interiors across the globe.
