Chelsea House

Chelsea House is a North Carolina design firm known for its high-end furnishings and accessories. The company sells everything from sofas and dining sets to lighting and decorative objects, and has been featured in a variety of well-known publications. Traditional Home Magazine featured Chelsea House’s Andres Console Table in its September 2017 issue, while the Viceroy Crackle Lamp appeared in the October 2016 issue. HFN magazine profiled the firm’s Lucille lamp in its December 2015 edition. Chelsea House was founded decades ago by family members of Bill Cain, who is the current company president. The firm has a showroom in High Point, North Carolina, which operates under the direction of designer Bradshaw Orrell, who once served as head of the Proximity Hotel design project. His signature elements include malachite, bamboo and Greek key motifs. Chelsea House prides itself on offering classic designs with a fresh attitude; one example of this is the elegant Jacob Coffee Table. This Hollywood Regency table is crafted from fruitwood and wrought iron for an upscale appearance and heirloom-quality durability. It has a rectangular marquetry inlay for a sophisticated touch. Chelsea House furniture and accessories are available for sale at Sotheby’s Home and impart refined style to any home or business space.
