Modern and sleek, this space by Michele Safra is pure Miami.

Design on a Dime is one of the design world’s favorite charitable events. Benefiting Housing Works, the event features shoppable one-of-a-kind vignettes by top interior designers, all using donated merchandise. To say it’s all for a good cause is an understatement: The event proceeds support Housing Works’ effort to end AIDS in the United States by 2025.

Though many know of the Design on a Dime New York event, Design on a Dime Miami is now in its second year. Held from February 4-5, the event will feature the work of 25+ top interior designers. We’re proud to announce that Viyet will be part of the fun this year. In honor of the event’s location, we’ve put together a list of our favorite pieces that channel Miami’s unmistakeable bold style:

Eero Saarinen Vintage Womb Chair And Ottoman

Why we love it: Though it’s a classic design, Saarinen’s masterpiece never feels like it ages. The vibrant upholstery is as gorgeous as the Miami ocean, making this a standout statement piece.

Lindsey Adelman Seven-Arm Staggered Glass Ball Chandelier

Why we love it: When is a chandelier not just a chandelier? When it feels like a dramatic sculpture instead, like Lindsey Adelman’s angular hanging fixture. It’s ideal for open concepts, kitchens, and dining rooms seeking a bit of an edge.

Fiam Italia Rialto Coffee Table

Why we love it: In Miami interiors, heavy furniture is “out.” Instead, it’s all about sleek lines and a modern sensibility – like this glass waterfall-style coffee table.

Kelly Wearstler Kaleidoscope Decorative Sphere

Why we love it: Kelly Wearstler’s design for the Viceroy Miami combines her signature maximalist style with the vibrant color that just feels right in Miami. This larger-scale dimensional sculpture adds a dash of Wearstler’s brand of glamour to your interiors. Display it next to a bench, or in the living room.

Janus Et Cie Fleet Chaises

Why we love it: In Miami, you can enjoy the sun almost 365 days a year (or, at least it feels like it!). Outdoors are dressed to impress, so bring a touch of Miami chic to your patio with this streamlined set of luxe chaises.

Ruzzeti and Gow Selenite and Bronze Table Lamps

Why we love it: Minerals are a big trend this year, especially when used in unexpected ways. As a base for a pair of table lamps, selenite shines in the light.

Fendi Casa Cowhide Square Ottoman

Why we love it: The rich red cowhide upholstery has an almost luminous look. The material and hue brings an element of warmth to the clean-lined design.

Kravet Drip Vase

Why we love it: Who says accessories can’t take the spotlight? This chic vase has a great silhouette and an unusual finish that draws the eye.
