With St Patrick’s Day around the corner, green – and touches of gold! – are on our brain. Here are five of our favorite rooms that incorporate all of the colors that come to mind on this holiday:

Designer: Ken Fulk

Why We Love It: Bright emerald green lacquered walls combine perfectly with the gold chairs. Also note the different textures at play here — there’s the shiny walls, the rich matte brick, and the character-filled wood floors. It’s not every day that you see so many great textures in one space!

Why We Love Ken: Independently-trained and working exclusively by referral, Ken Fulk has spent the last 15 years developing long-lasting relationships with clients throughout the United States and abroad. Whether it’s creating distinguished homes or hosting a private Stevie Nicks concert for 400 costumed Halloween dinner guests, Fulk imbues every project with effortless elegance. This green interior is no exception!

Why We Love It: Muted greens create a serene and warm space perfect for quiet entertaining and relaxation. We also love how the muted green curtains, pillows, and chair upholstery were done in velvet, which also ties in with the rich, luminous quality of the carpet.

Why We Love Bennett: Bennett studied Art History and Business at Skidmore College, which helped him develop both an artistic eye and a thorough understanding of the business side of design. He has extensive global experience, working on projects in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Hong Kong and Paris, and we are amazed by the resulting intersection of these influences.

Why We Love It: Minimal glimpses of green lets the color speak for itself. In this charming corner, two contrasting pillows (one in an all-over print with hints of greens, another in a grassy hue accessorized with a bold blue-and-white accent detail) enliven the soft sage green sofa.

Why We Love Jana: As evidenced by her work, Jana has always had a love for color, pattern, and mixing high and low elements to create compelling spaces.  A graduate of the University of Michigan and Parsons School of Design, she works with clients whose spaces range from sophisticated family homes to smart studio apartments.

Why We Love It: The green textured walls make everything in this room stand out. Upon closer inspection, the walls are layered in trellis. Because both the underlying wall and the trellis are painted in similar hues, the look takes on a sophisticated feel.

Why We Love Carl: The Baton Rouge, Louisiana designer perfected the trellis idea that homeowner Peter Rogers wanted for his pristine French Quarter house. The trellis was inspired by Elsie de Wolfe’s treillage room.

Designer: Lance Jackson

Why We Love It: Green accessories pop brilliant against the black and white backdrop.

Why We Love Lance: Three years spent working in furniture product development sparked Lance’s desire to continually have his hand in the product design industry. His firm Parker Kennedy Living focuses on high-end residential interior design, vintage furniture restoration and product development. We are enamored by their “Preppy on the Edge” look or Southern Regency as Lance calls it, taking traditional interiors and updating them using lacquer finishes and mixing textures and vintage details with young colors and patterns.
